Four Injured in Arizona Car Accident

by Administrator 6. May 2010 07:45

Four people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Bullhead City, Arizona Saturday.

According to officials with the Bullhead City Police Department, the crash occurred shortly after 9:00 a.m. on Highway 95 at the Rising Star Road intersection. Bullhead City Fire Department spokesman Larry Tunforss said the driver's side door of one vehicle was heavily damaged and the driver was trapped inside.

Firefighters had to use the Jaws of Life to remove the door of the vehicle and another tool was used to raise the dashboard so the woman could be freed.

The driver was transported by helicopter to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas in stable condition. A 9 year-old boy in the front seat was transported to Western Arizona Regional Medical with minor injuries, where he was treated and released.

Two other people sustained minor injuries in the crash and were taken to Valley View Medical Center.
