Three killed in Tucson helicopter crash

All three crew members aboard a medical helicopter were killed after a their helicopter went down in Tucson, Arizona.

According to the Federal Aviation Administration, there were no patients onthe flight as it helicopter traveled from Marana to Douglas. A paramedic, pilot and nurse were aboard during the accident and they were in contact with air traffic control during the flight.

Air traffic controllers said that the helicopter showed no signs of distress. The helicopter was operated by a Colorado company, Air Methods, and officials are on their way to the scene along with officials from the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board to investigate the accident.
