Two Dead, Others Missing at Lake Powell

by Administrator 27. April 2009 06:35

An accident at Lake Powell over the weekend has taken the lives of two individuals.  Two others are still missing, and two others have been rescued on an island at the lake.

An alert was issued after the couples that had rented the boat failed to return at the proper time.  Emergency officials were utilized to find the missing boaters.

According to the reports,  the weather got really bad on Lake Powell.  The boat then began to take on water and then began to sink.

An investigation into the accident is currently being conducted.  Authorities hope to determine what cause the sinking of the boat.
